Advantage Technical is Hiring a Chemistry Associate Reviewer - Irvine CA Near Irvine, CA

Advantage Technical is seeking a Chemistry Associate Reviewer for our client onsite in Irvine, CA! This is a fast start for money in your pocket! 2 Positions available! Contract Duration: 6-12 months with the high probability of extension!
Location: 2525 Mcgaw Ave Irvine, CA 92614-5841
Pay: $23-$25 per hour.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Position Summary:
Perform laboratory analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various laboratory apparatus and instruments in compliance with cGMP, GLPs, SOPs, USP and FDA guidelines.
Responsibilities:
  • Work in the Quality Control Chemistry team and perform data/document technical review.
  • Review and approve data in laboratory notebooks and LIMS.
  • Technical review of test execution including any preparations, instrument set-up and data/result generation.
  • Review of data and audit trails in electronic systems.
  • Understanding of the laboratory analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various laboratory apparatus and instruments (e.g. HPLC, GC, UV/Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, TOC, pH meter etc.)
  • Understanding of qualification, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Scan and compile supporting data for report/document preparation.
  • Other tasks and projects assigned as appropriate.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related scientific field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Familiarity with ICH and FDA guidelines, GMP regulations and quality compliance requirements preferred.
  • Must have excellent technical writing skills, editing, formatting and organization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired:
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience highly desirable.
  • Hands on working experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skill Requirements
  • Instrumentation experience with HPLC, UV/Vis, Karl0Fischer-Tirator, Viscometer, TOC Analyzer, Analytical Balances, pH meter, FTIR, AA, ICP.
  • Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Analytical Skills - ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
  • Communication, Oral & Written- Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken word and in composing clear and concise messages.
  • Conceptual Thinking - Ability to think in terms of abstract ideas.

  • Decision Making - Ability to make decisions for a course of action to be taken to address the specific issue.
  • Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.

  • Problem Solving - Ability to solve problems by weighing all the variables to come up with a resolution.
  • Teamwork - Ability to work well within a team environment.
Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
