Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Assistant Store ManagerLocation: Portland, OR (Downtown)Work hour: Shift work, 8 working hours/day, 5 days/week including weekend and holidays.Classification: Non-Exempt, full-time, direct hire An international retail company is seeking a Japanese bilingual assistant store manager for their Portland store. This position is responsible for providing a great customer experience as well as ensuring the store is neat and well presented at all times. Qualified candidate must speak advanced level Japanese and has minimum 2 year of retail experience including a lead experience.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all store procedures are carried out in accordance with the company's compliance standards.
- Providing a positive, seamless, and consistent customer experience.
- Performing register sales transactions quickly and accurately, following established cash control procedures.
- Providing support to fellow employees, such as assisting with tasks and sharing knowledge.
- Resolving customer concerns with their satisfaction in mind and escalating any issues to the store manager.
- Developing and arranging promotional materials and in-store displays.
- Opening and closing the store, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to speak Japanese at advanced level
- 2 years of experience working in a retail store, including a lead experience.
- Basic MS Office skills
