Job Title: Network Administrator/Engineer
Job Location: Columbia, MD
Hourly Rate: Up to $60hr depending on experience.
Work Schedule: Onsite for the first 6 months - Possibility of Hybrid Schedule after the 6 months.
Job Summary:

• Come join our team! We currently have an exciting possible Temp-to-Perm opportunity in Columbia, MD for a Network Administrator/Engineer that is a skilled IT professional with a passion for troubleshooting and supporting corporate and secure networks. Join our team where you can leverage your expertise in hardware, software, and network management to support and secure our systems.

• Proactively manage and maintain network devices, systems, and services to maximize network performance.
• Administer and support servers, network devices, LAN, WAN, and related systems.
• Install and configure internal and internet facing network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
• Define and document best practices and network support procedures.
• Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and VOIP components.
• Manage group policy and suggest necessary changes.
• Provide after-hours support for infrastructure emergencies as well as off-hour maintenance.
• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
• Assist in the development and on-going maintenance of the company System Security Plan (SSP) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs)
• Construct relevant technology policies to ensure CUI and CMMC compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 7 years related experience, (or) equivalent training, experience, and certification.

• Strong knowledge of network routers, switches, firewalls, SPAM/Web filters, hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
• Solid background in Microsoft server/client operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Microsoft365, Intune (MDM, MAM, CAP, DLP, etc.), and VMWare.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, DHCP, DNS, and other network related services.
• Strong knowledge of network routers, switches, firewalls, SPAM/Web filters, Wi-Fi design and support, etc.
• Microsoft PowerShell, HTML, and other scripting languages, desirable.
• Disaster recovery, intrusion prevention, data loss prevention, email security.
• Excellent customer service, strong communication skills (both oral and written), organizational support, sound judgment, self-motivation, effective planning/organizing, and dependability.

• A , Net , Security , MCP, MSCE (MCITP), CCNA, CCNP, VCP, etc., are highly desirable.

• Must be U.S. Citizen - "Must be able to meet ITAR requirements, including US citizenship to be considered for this role."
