Job Description
  • Hand assemble and solder components into printed circuit boards.
  • Perform various board, bracket, and label assemblies.
  • Visually inspect and test circuit boards and components for functionality and adherence to specification.
  • Identify and address issues including soldering defects and other assembly process problems.
  • Repair failed boards.
  • Touch up and clean circuit boards.
  • Contribute to efficient production procedures and an orderly production area.
  • Promote standard operating procedures, safety policies, and regulations.
  • Provide support to the Team as needed.
Responsibilities Include
  • Production and processing aptitude.
  • Ability to hand solder and identify electronic components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Quality control mindset.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; able to work independently within a team-focused environment.
RequirementsRequirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work under a scope all day.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to operate soldering machines
  • Basic computer skills such as emailing, and defect record keeping.
  • Willingness to work in flexible shifts.
  • Must be able to lift 5-15pounds.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Able to read and comprehend work instructions and prints.
  • Must be able to sit for 8-10 hours.
Additional Skills Preferred (but Not Required)
  • IPC certificate a plus
  • Good soldering skills are preferred (but will train the right candidate)
  • Must be able to multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001 is required (but will train the right person).
  • Good reading and math skills are required.
