Promotable SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Boutique professional services (i.e. engineering, architecture, law, etc.) firm is hiring a lead Senior Accountant to report to the Controller. Responsibilities include both corporate general accounting and project accounting oversite and analysis. There is a direct plan for promotion and if you are ready to step up from Sr. Accountant to LEAD it will be considered during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with project teams to support sound accounting and finance acumen and timely and accurate project billing
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research, analyze and project revenues and expenses for company management

Qualifications

• 5 years' of professional accounting experience (Deltek experience preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
