Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior management and risk management leadership to define the overall project vision and specific goals. Translate these goals into a well-defined project charter outlining deliverables, success metrics, and expected benefits.
• Craft a comprehensive project strategy that considers factors like data sources, system integration approach, data governance, and change management. This strategy should align with the institution's broader risk management objectives and technology roadmap.
• Lead a high-performing team with expertise in risk management, data / technical analysis, business operations, and potentially regulatory compliance.
• Regularly brief executives on project progress, challenges, and key decisions requiring their input and support.
• Develop a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders. This includes regular status reports, project meetings, and status reports tailored to different audiences.
• Identify potential risks that could impact the project's success, such as data quality issues, system integration challenges, or resistance to change. Develop mitigation strategies to address these risks and proactively manage.
• Establish a clear process for identifying, tracking, and resolving project issues. This includes assigning ownership, setting deadlines for resolution, and escalating critical issues to senior management when necessary.
• Develop a data strategy outlining how risk data will be sourced, integrated, managed, and governed within the new system. This includes establishing data quality standards, access controls, and procedures for data lineage and auditability.
• Work closely with teams to oversee the implementation of the risk management data system. This may involve managing user acceptance testing, system deployment, and ensuring system functionality meets project requirements.
• Regularly monitor project progress against the baseline plan, identifying any deviations in scope, schedule, or budget. Implement corrective actions to address variances and ensure project delivery within established parameters.
