POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, provides direct physical care to patients encompassing the activities of daily living. Performs specific nursing procedures relevant to the nursing assistant scope of practice. Expected to float to any department once oriented.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Work Experience:

• Passage of an approved Certified Nurse Attendant training program: Required
• 1 year of recent acute care CNA experience: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association: Required
