POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs all diagnostic x-rays and other exams utilizing proper technique, processes correctly marked images, completes computerized tracking and supply charges and assists Radiologist during invasive exams. Performs equipment quality control, transporting of patients and room set up and clean up. Available for fair share of call and performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Work Experience:

• Understanding of radiology information systems utilization and operation: Required
• Computer literacy, including ability to master new technology in the field: Required

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current California CRT with multiple modalities: Required
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association: Required
• California Fluoroscopy certification: Required within 7 months of nhire or transfer into position.
• An additional modality certification: Required
