This position is eligible for a hiring Incentive. The salary range for this position is $51.52 - $77.22/hour.

Adventist Health Portland’s state of the art surgery department provides a comprehensive range of surgical specialties as well as a variety of laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures. We are currently expanding our operation and service line. Last year we did more than 6,200 surgeries in our main OR alone. Our Da Vinci Xi Robot offers advanced surgical capabilities for the surgeon and has benefits to the patient that include a shorter hospital stay, reduced blood loss, reduced scarring and faster recovery. Job Summary:
Organizes and facilitates the patient while in the Operating Room (OR). Coordinates the overall care of patient between surgeon, anesthesiologist and room staff. Functions as a first assistant during surgical incision, excision, and repair of pathology throughout the perioperative period on procedures for which privileges have been granted. Participates in preoperative assessment and planning for selected surgical patients in collaboration with the healthcare team members in the preoperative location. Regularly demonstrates subject matter expertise regarding medication, treatment and patient care standards.
