About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis and a strong background in data-driven decision-making. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment from one of our locations in Hoboken, NJ; San Francisco, CA; or DFW, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
- Support the development and implementation of financial models and strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against targets and benchmarks
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Participate in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities to support business initiatives
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, preferably in a corporate setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
- Stakeholder management to fill the Gap
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's in Finance or MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA)
- Experience in the finance, healthcare, or retail sectors
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel)
