A full-service creative marketing and branding agency is seeking a Client Finance Lead to join their team in a newly created role. The award-winning agency has been recognized for their work across branding, PR, and experiential marketing for major fortune 500 clients across various industries. This individual will report to the Head of Finance and will be the go-to-resource for all forecasting, utilization planning, reporting and analysis related to their client portfolio.

The company operates in a remote capacity but would prefer this candidate to be local to the NYC area for periodic team meet-ups.

Responsibilities:

• Providing analytical financial insight, support staff utilization, and conduct budgeting and forecasting for each project
• Develop and maintain financial trackers and reports to monitor project budgets, fee forecasts and overall client profitability
• Liaise with account teams to ensure proper utilization across all ongoing projects, providing financial data to support either reducing or increasing resources as needed.
• Manage billing and invoicing process while addressing any issues to ensure the AR cycle is running smoothly
• Manage client PO balances and client SOWs in tandem with Sales Department
• Implement and improve financial processes with a focus on transparency and timeliness

Requirements:

• 3 years of client finance or FP&A experience in an agency setting
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to develop relationships with cross functional teams, most notably sales and account management.
• Proficient in preparing project SOWs for production-based projects
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

Salary: $95,000-110,000 Discretionary Bonus
