Responsibilities:

• Identify sustainable packaging solutions by leveraging technical knowledge of polymer technologies to manage and execute crucial projects from concept to commercialization.
• Expert in plastics extrusion, thermoforming, and material handling with a deep understanding of the thermal, mechanical, and rheological properties of thermoplastics.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive projects to enhance productivity, capacity, and efficiency across manufacturing facilities.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in the processing of plastic materials for consumer packaging.
• Provide recommendations on manufacturing equipment to support both current and future business needs.
• Address packaging opportunities and customer requirements in a manufacturing setting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers to solve complex problems and enhance product performance for our Award-Winning Client's customers.
• Develop innovative ideas to support the R&D product innovation and technology strategy.
• Foster a motivating environment within the R&D organization to achieve desired results.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed to protect employees.
• Up to 30% travel, primarily domestic.
