About AMCMC:
Adjacent to Lake Michigan, Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County features state of the art facilities and beautiful patient rooms that view the surrounding gardens or lake. Located on the third floor, the Medical Surgical Unit is just off the gold elevators and strategically placed to facilitate a close working relationship with our interdisciplinary department (Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Case Management) team members.
We offer 17 private rooms for a vast variety of medical surgical patients. Noted for our cancer and orthopedic care, Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County has received national recognition for best practices and quality care. Our typical patient population consists of post-surgical patients, oncology, geriatrics, and orthopedics. Quality measures supported by our department are infection control, falls, total joint, and pressure injury prevention.
