Role and Responsbilities for Positon:

• Conduct physical safety audits and inspections on behalf of our client.
• Assist client staff with OH&S program development, refinement, and implementation.
• Utilize strong organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills to identify areas for improvement at client locations nationwide.
• Represent client and corporate leadership while fostering positive working relationships with client stakeholders.

Technical Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience with environmental or occupational health and safety compliance, management, and implementation activities
• Experience conducting inspections and providing findings directly to the inspected party
• PSP Certification
• Experience with analysis, policy writing, and client support
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Experience with conducting data analysis to identify trends and reporting out on organizational lessons learned
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Possession of excellent oral and written communications, including giving presentations
• Willing to travel with overnight stays to visit job sites during all phases of projects, approximately 3 days per week
• Maintain a valid driver’s license
• Be willing to submit to a background check; due to amount of government work performed
• Be able to adequately perform job site walk throughs and occasional lifting or use of ladders to perform site inspections. Physical requirements would be defined as light duty with walking as the main activity.
• Experience in government agency work environments, preferred
• OSHA 30 or OSHA trainer, preferred
• BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health & Safety Management, preferred
