Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer for a h y brid opportunityto be based in New Orleans, Louisiana .
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Undertaking design activities on maritime projects - container terminals, mining/bulk, oil/gas, marinas, ports and harbors, coastal DOD facilities, coastal defense, and development schemes
• Civil design for terminals across the United States
• Independently prepare engineering related calculations and develop civil technical specifications, plans, and details
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers
• Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Professional Engineering Registration Louisiana or ability to obtain it immediately upon start
• Valid Driver's license required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters of Science in Civil Engineering or related field 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Proficient in CAD and design software
• Experience in the design of marine terminals, naval facilities, and port facilities
• Experience in Site Development and Utility Design
• Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $70,000.00 - $129,000.00.
