**Job Description**

**AECOM** is currently seeking a Roofing Inspector to join our NY Metro team. The Roofing Inspector will support commercial roofing, masonry and other general construction practices.

**_This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:_**

Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Responsible for setting own project deadlines

Provides on the job training to new employees

Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records

Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning

Tracks quality assurance progress

Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers

Monitor safety as well as perform quality assurance inspections

Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties

Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

HS 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Must prior experience with Commercial Roofing inspection

**Preferred Requirements:**

The Roofing Inspector shall be able to receive direction from the Project Manager and the Superintendent and work well with others

The Roofing Inspector for this position must be able to verify quantities, measurements and assist in the review and verification of payments as needed

They will be required to type out daily reports, upload and download documents such as pictures, submittals, drawings, specifications, and manage their time in a responsible way

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $87,778.70 - $125,084.64.
