The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to the business unit leaders within the organization. The HRBP works to align human resources strategies with business goals and objectives. They are responsible for providing HR support, guidance, and expertise to ensure the organization's workforce is effectively managed, developed, and engaged. The position also formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects and supports the business objectives of the organization.
Position Responsibilities
  • Partner on day-to-day operational priorities and objectives across all HR functions including HR Operations, Total Rewards, Recruiting, Learning & Organizational Development, DE&I, Employee Relations and Compliance to best serve the business.
  • Collaborate with the business unit leaders to understand their goals. Challenges, and workforce needs, and develop HR strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including workforce planning, job postings, interviews, and candidate assessment to ensure the organization has the right talent in place.
  • Partner with the Employee Relations Manager to manage and resolve employee relation issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback, and improvement plans.
  • Identify training and development needs within the business and collaborate with the Learning and Organizational Development team to design and deliver relevant training programs.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and use data to make informed and strategic HR decisions.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit organizational structures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement through initiatives such as employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws related to day-to-day management of employees, mitigating legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed.
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are communicated, understood, and adhered to within the business units.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, mergers, and acquisitions, by helping manage the impact on employees and facilitating effective transitions.
  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Ensure reports and records are maintained with a commitment to ensure confidentiality.
  • Work with staff to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant years of experience.
  • 5 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HRBP responsibilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS, Payroll systems or related HR software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements.
