Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Home Health & Hospice Sales Manager is primarily responsible for leading the team members who educate and promote Tabithas Home Health and Hospice business lines. This position will be a working manager, who will also be responsible for maintaining a specified territory where they will have individual goals and responsibilities. They will work to build strong relationships and promote Tabitha with identified internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for assuring the team meets specified monthly referral number targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Directs and supervises the Business Development team.
  2. Responsible for all budget expectations of the Business Development team.
  3. Helps develop and execute short-term and long-term plans, to meet referral targets for each of Tabithas Home Health and Hospice service lines.
  4. Monitors the monthly tracking and reporting of relationship building activities focused on business-to-business relationships and business to client relationships.
  5. Provides Tabitha leadership with information and updates regarding the initiatives of the team.
  6. Responsible for overseeing that referral metrics are met by all team members in all service areas.
  7. Provides education for internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Key Referral Partner Business to Business Relationships:
    • Builds relationships and maintains communication with key external referral sources, including:
      • Physicians, PAs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Social Workers, Office Staff
      • ALFs, ILs and SNFs
      • Hospitals
      • Other referral sources
  1. Represents Tabitha at health fairs and other sponsorship opportunities.
  2. Foster TEAMember satisfaction through effective and consistent leadership by listening to TEAMember concerns and taking appropriate action. Identify and remove barriers to achieve employee success.
  3. Acts appropriately as a key member of management, informing appropriate parties of problems or circumstances which may impact Tabitha, and maintaining confidentiality regarding such issues.
  4. Provide leadership, support and assistance as needed to assure achievement of departmental and corporate goals.
  5. Willingly takes on additional duties and/or assignments, assisting with projects and responding to requests as assigned or as necessary.
Qualifications:

COMMUNICATION: Expert level written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills. Sufficient fluency to be able to hold a conversation, conduct or participate in meetings, compose professional e-mails or other written communication, complete documentation requirements of the job and interact with key stakeholders, congregations, community members, management, vendors, employees, coworkers, customers, volunteers and managers effectively. Ability to work with spreadsheets, software and perform complex mental tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to drive vehicle from place to place, gain access to meeting/presentation locations and then safely perform the duties of the job while moving about the locations. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability and pass a 25 - pound physical exam demonstrating strength and agility prior to employment and at Tabithas discretion.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated ability of leading high performing teams, building and maintaining relationships required. Practical experience managing multiple projects at one time required.

CREDENTIALS: Valid Nebraska Drivers license (unless otherwise allowed by law) and a good driving record required. Must possess auto insurance at or above Nebraska statutory requirements. Must meet Tabithas vaccination requirements.
