The Safety Manager is responsible for the execution of site safety management. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. This position requires being on-site.

General responsibilities include:

• Daily safety walks and inspections,
• Weekly safety audits with the CMs and GC,
• Daily safety reporting within Procore,
• Safety training for the Compass project staff,
• Ensuring compliance with the GC’s safety program,
• Ensuring compliance with the Compass Cares program,
• Ensuring federal/jurisdictional safety requirements are complied with,
• Communications, updates and presentations to customer weekly and as required.

• 4-8 years of construction safety experience
• Broad knowledge of rules, regulations, and guidelines relating to safety.
• The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize your time to meet deadlines
• Strong ability to communicate--verbally and written
• Proven track record of speaking up when you encounter any potential roadblocks.
• Passion for the role you play in keeping the project details on track.
• Previous experience with Procore a plus
