Location: Harwood Heights, IL
Overview: We are seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a dynamic role combining industrial maintenance and facilities maintenance tasks. We need a maintenance generalist who can handle a variety of tasks and keep our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
- Perform industrial maintenance tasks.
- Handle electrical repairs and rewiring.
- Conduct plumbing repairs.
- Perform general facilities maintenance, such as painting walls, repairing hinges, adjusting garage doors, and fixing ovens.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for machinery and equipment.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Strong electrical skills.
- Electro-mechanical skills and experience.
- Comfortable with a variety of tasks, from painting walls to rewiring motors and fixing plumbing issues.
- Ability to work on a small team under the maintenance supervisor.
- Experience with CNCs, industrial ovens, furnaces, and HVAC equipment.
- Long-term commitment to the role.
