Maintenance Technician - Portland, TN

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large manufacturing company in Portland, TN area. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to Handle the electrical needs of the entire facility, and a wide variety of production machinery and equipment.

• Pay: $26/hr
• First shift opening
• Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Must have mechanical knowledge of design and installation of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding/brazing, operation of milling machines, lathes, cut-off valves, and solenoids.
• Assist with rigging, installation, repair, and maintenance of a variety of production equipment, fabrication, and installation of machine guarding, fixtures, parts and mechanisms.
• Troubleshooting, equipment fabrication, installation, and preventative maintenance

Requirements:

• PLC diagnostics and basic single and 3-phase knowledge
• Ability to read and interrupt electrical drawing
• 5 years electrician’s experience
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
