- What are the Maintenance Technician position responsibilities?
- Setting up machines for various products,
- Trouble-shooting hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics,
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment,
- Repair, rebuild and welding,
- Lubrication, hand truck repair,
- Building repair and maintenance
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.
What essential skills and experience are required?
- Mechanical background
- Welding-Tig / Stick
- Read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
- Ammonia Refrigeration knowledge
- Time management : ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong team player
- Communication skills : ability to communicate with a multitude of plant personnel as well as maintenance personnel.
- The ability to work at heights up to 25’ a ladder or man lift.
- The ability to work weekends is necessary.
