Job Description
Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large manufacturing company in the Nashville, TN area and they are looking to hire a Process Engineer. This candidate must have a bachelor's degree in engineering and ideally will have 3 YOE in process engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Lean manufacturing initiatives to improve cycle times, productivity, and safety
- Process improvements, root cause analysis, corrective actions, work instructions, and process flow charts
- Conducts tests on new manufacturing methods, processes and determining applications of results
- Leading a team of process technicians
- Leading capital projects and working with vendors & suppliers
- Provides input to support process changes
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- 3 years of experience
- Lean manufacturing
- ISO experience
- Cost savings projects experience
