AEMPro is Hiring an Accounts Receivable and Payroll Coordinator Near Anaheim, CA

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment of invoices. This is a vital role within our organization, as it directly impacts our cash flow and financial stability.

Responsibilities:
- Process and post customer payments to the appropriate accounts
- Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
- Generate and send out invoices to customers
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payments, or other irregularities
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Familiarity with payroll, HRIS, and benefits administration systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of ADP payroll system is a plus
- Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts receivable
