This position will be key in partnering with the CEO and other top executives of the company to provide strategy and oversight of specific project construction management needs as identified. This project will begin in the next 30-45 days and is anticipated 9-12 months to completion. After completion, contract extension for additional projects is an option. The contract will be directly with the company. The project will be a large scale concrete warehousing/maintenance facility construction for the military. The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for the projects site operation, the day-to-day direction and coordination of field labor, subcontractors, equipment and is accountable for satisfying the company and the client in terms of quality, safety, timeliness, and cost. The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the pre-planning, on-site coordination and execution of the project until completion. In doing this, their actions and efforts will contribute that the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget and in compliance with the contract. All while meeting the client’s requirements. Overall, the Senior Construction Manager must be a capable leader, experienced with large scale concrete construction process management who can partner with an entrepreneurial minded and dynamic leadership team and military client. Ideally this person will have experience with self-perform concrete projects and DOD projects. This person must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically to all organizational levels of the company (and externally) and manage across the operating disciplines of the company. The Senior Construction Manager must be capable of evaluating different construction scenarios and stand firm on decisions that affect the other operating disciplines of the company.
