Job Summary AmeriLife Benefits, a national leader in voluntary and executive benefits, is seeking a Graphic Design & Digital Communications Specialist to join our Business Development and Marketing Department. This is a full-time, exempt, salary position that reports to the Marketing and Sales Support Director. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented graphic designer with strong written and verbal communication skills to help create and maintain a relevant aesthetic for our marketing and sales collateral. The role is responsible for working with various teams and external stakeholders to ensure that all print and digital products are of the highest quality, accurate, and effective in their intended use. To be successful in this role you must have a good understanding of designing for both print and digital deliverables. You should have strong creative chops with the ability to build robust compositions in a variety of mediums. You should also have a high aptitude for learning new tools with the ever-changing technology landscape. Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, the individual will: Serve as AmeriLife Benefits graphic design lead and ensures all materials consistently adhere to brand standards. Materials include, but are not limited to, firm website and individual client benefit portals, social media graphics, digital and printed collateral, PPT presentations, email campaigns, and digital messaging. Delivers creative and sophisticated infographic solutions to ensure AmeriLife Benefits brand is communicated effectively both with words and design. Ensures workflow from concept to production is efficient and well communicated. Facilitates the optimization of activities by analyzing website, email, and social media metrics and making recommendations to improve results. Utilizes email marketing platform, to create communications campaign with integrating animation and video into graphics strategy. Keeps abreast of image editing software innovations while maintaining a strong edge on relevant skill sets through ongoing and self-driven training Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in design, graphic design, or a related field Creativity and originality with demonstrated knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles Training in HTML, and CSS with Computer fluency in both Mac and PC Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, Acrobat WordPress experience including web page builder tools: Elementor, Beaver Builder, Thrive Architect, Gutenberg Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Multimedia design and development (video, PPT, animated GIFs, audio editing) Preference towards those that understand browser capabilities, JavaScript development, and PHP coding Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time and people efficiently.
