Associate Scientist
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Fully onsite - 8-5 Monday - Friday
3-5 years of experience
Execute timely critical reagent analytical support and characterization using liquid chromatographic and analytical methods such as RPLC-MS, native-MS, aSEC, aCEX, aHIC, calorimetry, and light scattering. Generate and process singleton and large analytical data sets for research clients. Generate reports and communicate these data and associated reports for research clients. Perform protein, peptide, nucleic acid, glycan analysis and support and characterization by mass spectrometry, using RPLC-MS and RPLC-MS/MS, native-MS and other hyphenated MS analytical capabilities, aSEC, aCEX, aHIC, calorimetry, and light scattering to support the diverse early-stage pipeline.
Previous experience with MS and MS/MS based PTM characterization desirable. Previous experience with MS/MS based de novo sequencing desirable. Previous experience with aSEC, aCEX, aHIC, calorimetry, and light scattering is desirable. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Previous experience working in biopharmaceutical research and/or development will be advantageous.
