Overview: As a Contract School Psychologist, you will work within educational settings to support students’ mental health and well-being. Your primary role is to assess, counsel, and collaborate with school staff, parents, and students to promote positive learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Counseling:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ emotional, behavioral, and learning needs.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to address social-emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop strategies for student success.
- Behavioral Support:
- Assist in developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
- Implement positive behavior support strategies.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Consultation and Collaboration:
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other professionals.
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Provide guidance on classroom management and student behavior.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field.
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
