Why This Position is for YouWe’re looking for a creative, curious Manufacturing Engineer with experience in core design and mechanical skills but is really driven by learning about how things work. This job will allow you to be creative with tools to help manufacture state-of-the-art equipment used to service the aviation industry. The Manufacturing Engineer requires someone to truly think outside the box when determining what should be customized for the job at hand. This role requires someone with experience in several different skill sets spanning a few different fields including mechanical work, electrical work, engineering, and manufacturing. ~3 years of experience in manufacturing is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Creating/Updating manufacturing drawings to reflect current changes & revisions.
  • Storing & maintaining current drawings, part numbers, and serial numbers in the Engineering Vault
  • Exploring solutions to help increase productivity in manufacturing & assembly processes.
  • Modeling 3D drawings in Solidworks software and providing 2D engineering drawings for manufacturing.
  • Creating prototypes for new design equipment and supporting manufacturing with any needed help
  • Creating engineering documents and assisting in establishing controlled processes for documentation.
  • Inspect manufactured components.
  • Light travel to support off-site managers with dimensions, equipment, or other needs.
Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the Engineering field.
  • 3-5 years with experience in CAD design in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Welding, Machining, Material Handling)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and able to lift 50lbs
  • Experience in the following: electrical systems, assembly, and manufacturing
  • Reliability is a must, willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments
  • Willing and able to follow required policies (i.e, DOT, FAA, Drug Testing, etc. as required)
