Job DescriptionTHIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN ROCHESTER, NY
The Operations Process Engineer is a cross functional role responsible for the monitoring and improving ASG’s operations processes. The role will serve as a technical shared resource among different departments to develop clear and effective documentation and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:Documentation
Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, frequently will be required to sit; type; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls (some repetitive motion); and talk or hear. Also, occasionally will be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel and crouch, and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include some close vision
Tools & Equipment:PC, printer, telephone, copier, and other office equipment.
Environmental Factors:Normal office, warehouse, and production environment.

The Operations Process Engineer is a cross functional role responsible for the monitoring and improving ASG’s operations processes. The role will serve as a technical shared resource among different departments to develop clear and effective documentation and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:Documentation
- The update and enhancement of all ASG operating documents to ensure quality documentation and consistency in technical content and formatting using Company Templates.
- Configure R&D Solid Works drawings into cross functional work instructions to be used across all AeroSafe domestic and international service centers.
- Collaborates with area subject matter experts or technical specialist to create or revise existing procedures or documents for use in the different department processes
- Obtains and verifies accuracy of technical details, manages documentation workflows, and proofreads drafts for adherence to established document design and quality standards
- Obtain super user training on current ERP software in support of multi-site refurbishment operations
- Assist with trouble shooting of our ERP system across all ASG and supporting sites.
- Assist with the development and testing of new and replacement system processes.
- Assist with the development and testing of both current and future enhancements within the Intellect system.
- Actively participates in the identification and implementation of manufacturing / refurbishment procedure improvements intended to optimize existing or new processes.
- Work closely with Plant Management on the development and implementation of customer complaint corrective actions
- Support technical and equipment transfer initiatives from Research and Development on to the manufacturing operation.
- Minimum 2 years of technical / engineering experience
- Three years of manufacturing and assembly experience required
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel) and related software.
- Previous ERP software experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
