Schedule:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday.

OT is dependent on production demands.

Pay Range:

$22 -$26 / HR

Role Description:

Prepares and processes parts through a liquid penetrant inspection system, including final evaluation, making and accepting / reject decisions and documentation of results. NDT technician will work with the welders, inspection team, and production managers to efficiently inspect parts.

This position requires a strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes, as well as familiarity with surface mount technology and industry codes standards.

Duties:

  • Analyze Blueprints and technical drawings to perform testing procedures
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Adhere to industry codes standards for testing procedure
  • Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high product standards
  • Prepping and cleaning parts before and after inspection may be required depending on customer specifications.
  • Assist the inspection team when FPI demands are slow.
  • Work with Production management and welding staff to communicate the needed adjustments for acceptable work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a LVL 2 NDT technician
  • Proven experience in analyzing blueprints and conducting tests
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for assembly and fabrication tasks
  • Ability to perform quality control checks effectively
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of industry codes standards related to testing procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with basic inspection tools (Nice to have)
  • Able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
