Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager/Director Technical Content Marketing to join our Product Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, the Senior Technical Content Marketer will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and deep technical content that educates and engages our target audience of data architects, engineers, and DevOps while driving inbound traffic and supporting our B2B sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Author deep technical content for blogs, white papers, briefs, webinars, videos, presentations, and reports, focusing on product features, usage scenarios, and underlying technologies.
• Develop long-form content that showcases the value proposition of our products and addresses key pain points of our target audience.
• Stay updated on and create commentary on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform content creation and strategy.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to identify content gaps, analyze competitors, and optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Execute against a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Engage with internal stakeholders including product managers, developers, engineers, and sales engineers to gather insights and ensure accuracy and relevance of technical content.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in technical content marketing, preferably within the B2B software or technology industry.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a diverse audience.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and demonstrated success in optimizing content for search engines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience as a developer or sales engineer is a plus.
