**Job Title: Meat Cutter**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic production team as a Meat Cutter, where you will be responsible for scheduling production with supervisors and managers, and ensuring the processing of meat meets our high standards. Your duties will include cleaning, trimming, slicing, and portioning various types of meat, inspecting products for defects, reading and following specific customer instructions, and performing quality control checks. Additionally, you'll be tasked with separating meats into containers, using equipment for cutting, weighing meats, and ensuring all procedures align with our product specifications.
**Hard Skills**
Experience with production equipment
Ability to operate band saws or knives for meat cutting
Proficient in meat portioning and understanding Meat Buyers Guide specifications
Experience in Quality Control procedures
**Soft Skills**
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Effective communication skills in English
Problem-solving skills
**Job Type**
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
**Work Site**
This is a fully on-site position in Atlanta, Georgia.
**Work Environment**
Work in a climate-controlled environment at 36-38 degrees. Shifts are Monday-Friday from 12 PM until close, averaging 8-10 hours, with extended hours during busy seasons.
