* Applicant must be knowledgeable in understanding and implementing dental billing and/or medical billing tasks, including appeals and pre-authorizations.

* Applicant must be able to utilize dental billing or medical billing programs, be fluent in utilizing other computer programs and be able to go online and utilize insurance websites.

* MacPractice dental billing or medical billing EMR fluency a plus but not required.

* Must be honest, discreet and a team player

* Does not need to be able to code from charts as diagnosis and procedure codes will be selected for them by the dentist / oral & maxillofacial surgeon

* Salary commensurate with abilities and will be re-evaluated after 6 weeks and after 6 months.

* This surgeon's office has 7 employees, which allows flexibility in hours, paid time off but medical insurance is not included

* Office is located on the Post Road in Darien, 2 blocks from Metro North Darien station and easily acessible by bus, Hwy 95 and the Merritt Parkway
