Role Description

Affirmation Health is seeking a contract Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. The PMHNP will provide mental health and psychiatric care to patients, including conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, prescribing medication and treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

This hybrid role is based in St. Paul, MN, with flexibility for remote work. Most days can be remote with 2 days per month in the office. The role allows for flexible scheduling, starting part-time with 2 days per week and the opportunity to increase in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment
• Strong clinical skills and ability to provide evidence-based care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience as an NP in mental health care
• Master’s degree in Nursing or higher
• Desire to help those struggling with mental health conditions and substance use disorder
• Ability to work with treatment facilities to manage and communicate treatment plans
• Interest in assisting with Sublocade and Vivitrol programs
