Aftermath Services is currently hiring a Shop Manager for our San Diego shop.

Salary: Job time hourly rate: $40.00-$42.00 | Admin hourly rate: $21.00

Driver's license and a clean driving history required.

Shop Manager - Biohazard Mitigation

We are currently searching for an experienced Shop Manager who is hardworking, compassionate, and has a strong desire to help families in need. While prior experience in construction, demolition, restoration, and comparable industries are a plus, it is not required. Aftermath provides comprehensive training and certification on safety and compliance, biohazard cleanup process and procedure, and customer service. We are committed to training our teams for success.

Experience and Skills

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to respond to dispatch office within one hour of receiving a call.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Occasional overnight travel, with accommodations provided by the company.
  • Capable of handling a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must reside locally and be able to respond to the shop within one hour of receiving a service call
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience. Preferably in biohazard remediation, construction, demolition, restoration, or a related field.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a technical or field service environment.
  • Must possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have completed Aftermath's Field Learning Path within 30 days of start, and Supervisor Learning Path within 90 days of start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IICRC S540 certification or equivalent in biohazard remediation
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership in high-stress scenarios.
  • Customer service experience and military personnel are highly valued.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a track record of successful community engagement and outreach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and relevant software.
