Essential Duties:

• **Sales Strategy Execution:** Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target and sell used agricultural equipment to a broad spectrum of dealers across various regions
• **Customer Engagement:** Actively engage with jockeys, wholesalers, inline dealers, and competitive dealers, establishing strong relationships and understanding their unique needs
• **Nationwide & International Sales:** Handle sales transactions that span coast to coast, including some international exports, expanding the dealership's reach and market influence
• **Product Knowledge:** Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the features, benefits, and unique selling points of John Deere's used agricultural equipment
• **Sales Targets:** Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by effectively negotiating deals and closing sales with various stakeholders in the agricultural equipment market
• **Market Analysis:** Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and to stay ahead in the industry
• **Client Relationship Management:** Develop long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and to foster a positive reputation for the dealership
• **Reporting:** Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to management for strategic planning

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural equipment industry
• Strong understanding of the wholesale market and the ability to engage effectively with various types of dealers
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel extensively and manage sales across different regions
• Knowledge of John Deere agricultural equipment is highly advantageous
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
