Responsible for all aspects of selling in the field within a geographical territory. Travel to all areas within that territory and develop personal relationships with all existing and potential customers. Manager the maximization of sales and profitability for the company by utilizing planning, strategy and sales skills.

REGULAR DUTIES

• Establish sales goals and plan with the sales director.
• Investigate and fully report all customer product quality complaints according to established guidelines.
• Assist credit department with the management of past due accounts, as well as provide field intelligence on matters pertaining to the credit worthiness of customers.
• Work very closely with customer support associates and national accounts team to ensure fully integrated, effective sales effort directed toward all customer segments.
• Provide sales director with current information concerning marketing/sales opportunities and situations. Assessment of pricing and competitive information is particularly important. Legally gather market intelligence to assist in making price suggestions.
• Other duties, as assigned.

ESSENTAIL FUNCTIONS

• Gathers, analyzes and interprets data to create clear, concise and accurate reports to Director of Sales.
• Must be able to prioritize work assignments, schedule and calendar.
• Presents professional and personable image with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrates record of good work attendance.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass background, drug screen and physical abilities test.
• Must provide own vehicle for sales duties; must be late model and appropriate – approved by director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, with a minimum education requirement of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• 3 to 5 years of direct sales experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Must possess strong communications skills and act in a professional manner when dealing with all levels of internal and external customers
• Strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated, positive and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Should be proactive with the ability to identify and resolve issues with intelligence and in a positive, timely manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
