Description
Join Ag Partners in a temporary position as a Grain Operator at the Traverse and/or Oshawa locations! We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Grain Department during the fall grain harvest by loading outgoing trucks, unloading incoming grain, and performing routine maintenance and cleaning around the facilities. Our busy fall season typically runs from September to late November. We offer flexible working hours, and candidates must be 18 or older. Passing a pre-employment drug test is mandatory.
Requirements
Qualifications required:
• Interact with customers and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.
• Multi-task with little to no supervision.
• Lift and carry 60 pounds, perform repetitive lifting, extended periods of standing/walking, willing and able to climb bins and grain legs, and be in an outdoor environment with dust during fall weather conditions.
Qualifications preferred:
• Previous grain handling experience is preferred but not required.
