Reporting to the Row Crop Supervisor, the Tractor Driver is responsible for the application of liquid fertilizers, dry fertilizers, and chemicals to row crops by utilizing a tractor and or truck.

About the Position :

• Responsible for wearing appropriate safety gear for the chemicals that are being applied such as goggles, respirator, gloves, boots, helmet, and coveralls in accordance with Company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Responsible for the proper use, maintenance, and care of all safety equipment
• Responsible for the driving of company truck to transport equipment toll and supplies which includes loading and unloading tractor onto trailer to be towed to job site
• Responsible for the proper and safe transportation, handling, and storage of Hazardous Materials and their empty containers
• Apply chemicals and fertilizer, (liquid and dry) to row crops using a tractor in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload equipment, fertilizers and or chemicals needed to complete assigned job
• Make liquid truck, dry tender or pallet fertilizer deliveries
• Maintain and service assigned equipment including communicating equipment failures and needs to shop supervisor
• Inspect equipment daily and complete daily inspection logs properly and accurately

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid CDL A License with Tanker Endorsement
• Hazmat Endorsement Preferred
• 1-3 Months of Related Experience or Training
• Pass DOT Physical
• Certified Forklift Operator
• Able to Lift Between 25-50 Lbs
