Role: Lead Data Engineer
W2 Role

Location: Chandler, Arizona or Charlotte NC-Hybrid-3x/week

Duration: 12 months Contract

Technical Skills:

• BigData management practices, Microsoft SQL Server / SSIS development, pySpark, Scala Spark, Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Flow, Proc, Looker), Jenkins, DevOps, Ansible
• Possesses T-shaped engineering skills to address questions/clarifications directly with domain SMEs, quality engineering coverage, and L3/DevOps coverage
• Design, develop, and deploy complex data flows, define new data management solutions and standards, create and maintain domain data product designs, and everything else involved in supplying high quality analytical data for cyber security use cases (threat analytics, governed metrics, cybersecurity data science) as well as report issues to engineering teams and product leadership appropriately.
• Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering situations requiring understanding of software package options and programming language and compliance requirements that influence and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change
• Provide code peer review oversight and governance. Ensure optimal distributed data processing coding practices are defined in the engineering handbook.
• Proactively collaborate and consult with internal product teams to resolve highly complex and risky data engineering challenges.
• Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering situations requiring understanding of software package options and programming language and compliance requirements that influence and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
