Agape Network Inc is Hiring a Benefits and Payroll Coordinator Near Miami, FL

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Benefit and Payroll Coordinator with conceptual thinking, and fantastic organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills. To ensure success, the coordinator should display strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, employment laws and regulations, staffing management, and payroll processing. Must have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results for the HR department and the organization
Some Responsibilities are:
  • Partner with the HR Director to align HR strategies with the agency’s overall goals and vision improving Human Resources functions.
  • Provide overall support and assistance to agency personnel with recommendations and confidential guidance demonstrating leadership skills that will enable staff to openly discuss issues and concerns.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure proper administration and management of recruitment/hiring/employment processing; payroll-related processes; benefits; worker’s compensation and FMLA; unemployment issues; personnel file management; EEOC-related claims; and overall HR functions.
  • Work in conjunction with the HR Recruiter to facilitate the talent acquisition process, including but not limited to candidate selection and onboarding process.
  • Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solutions to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Coordinates and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management, benefits enrollment; etc.
  • Analyzes HR Data and market trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Director to develop effective solutions and improve operations.
  • Process agency payroll following agency policies and protocols.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Track’s status of employees with mandatory requirements ei. background screening, training, etc., and responds with follow-notifications.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Education And/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field with a minimum of three-year of experience in Human Resources and payroll processing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good knowledge of employment /labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach. Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Canvas, and related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
