What You'll Do
- Ensure systems availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Oversee network and data security, conducting regular checks and ensuring system integrity.
- Manage major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
- Handle security audits and questionnaires, focusing on client and business needs (e.g., Application Security, Infrastructure, SOCII/HIPAA audits).
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for organizational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits, building in redundancies for risk mitigation.
- Lead initiatives to improve and update software systems and hardware infrastructure.
- Research and integrate emerging technologies to meet evolving marketplace demands.
- Define and manage the IT strategy to align with business goals.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with IT-related regulations and standards.
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Provide direction and training opportunities for IT team members.
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage contracts.
- Utilize the Learning Management System to create effective training programs for staff.
- 6-8 years of progressive IT experience, with 3-5 years in IT management.
- Minimum 2 years managing and developing a team
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Science, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience ensuring systems availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Proven ability to oversee network and data security.
- Experience managing major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
- Expertise in handling security audits and questionnaires, focusing on client and business needs.
- Strong skills in developing and implementing IT policies and best practices.
- Knowledge in database administration, access control, and vulnerability scanning/monitoring.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud computing/hosting.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure and CITM certification.
- CISSP or equivalent certification is a plus.
