Ageatia Global Solutions is Hiring a Site Superintendent Near Cleveland, OH
Site Superintendent is responsible for monitoring the construction project scope of work through its entire lifecycle. Duties include anticipating and scheduling supplies, equipment, and labor. Complete quality inspections and supervise all project field personnel, including staff and sub-contractors.
Daily collaboration with all associated MEP and Construction Foreman to ensure all is running smoothly on the construction site associated with the scope of work. Additionally, responsible for ensuring all safety, quality, and health standards are met daily.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on project progress against the plan and schedule
- Generate daily reports, daily safety analysis, and job site progress photos to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Document, notify, and track work deficiencies to allow for timely and acceptable resolutions
- Document conflicts with associated trades impacting work sequencing
- Track subcontractor delivery dates for materials
- Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance, as required
- Keep track of material stock and orders, stored onsite
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies by coordinating with project stakeholders
- Being a point of contact for various working groups
- Assist with project closeout
- Perform additional assignments per the Project Executive and Project Manager's direction
- Plan construction processes
- Set performance goals and deadlines for the execution of work
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Attend required field coordination meetings and huddles, as directed
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
Requirements And Skills
- Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
- Building Automation or Mechanical/Electrical construction experience is preferred
- Familiarity with MEP Systems
- Familiarity with Client Systems
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
- In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
- Ability to plan and see the "big picture
- Daily, weekly, and monthly planning is helpful
- Problem-solving skills are a must
- Proficiency in MS Office. MS Project experience is a plus
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead and inspire
- Must be able to work within a team environment and is fully willing to lead and follow
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are a must
