REPORTS TO: Department Head or ManagerBASED AT: 303 University Dr. East, College Station, TX 77840Job SummaryTo acquire, develop and maintain relationships with our customers through deep product knowledge, personal engagement and excellent service.Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store.
- Connects with customers in a friendly and meaningful way.
- Demonstrates expert styling and brand knowledge.
- Recommends merchandise based on expert product knowledge and customer preferences, regardless of department or channel.
- Use upselling techniques to increase store sales.
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Courteously takes returns and offers options based on customer’s needs.
- Assists in operational tasks (actively maintains selling floor, fills in stock, cleans fitting rooms returns merchandise to other departments)
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the POS System and be able to ring up customer purchases.
- Contributes to team effort by adhering to the company’s core values of Adaptability, Genuine Passion, Growth and Development, Integrity, Excellence together and Service.
- Strong level of professionalism at work
- Able to understand a customer's concerns and quickly determine solutions with limited supervision
- Exceeds customer expectations by providing assistance with a positive attitude
- Advanced customer service skills
- Demonstrates a high level of energy and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to ensure the customer is first
- Actively creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration
- Maintains positive working relationships throughout the company
- Minimum High School or GED is required.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends and holidays, game days, graduations, ring day, special events.
- One Year progressively responsible retail or other service related industry experience is preferred.
