Aggtrans & The Stone Store is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing and eager to learn and grow within our organization. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with our Marketing & Events Director to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This position reports directly to our office near BWI Airport in Harmans, MD daily.

Responsibilities:

• Support inbound and outbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in areas such as event planning, advertising, email activities, search engine marketing, graphic web design, search engine optimization and, content development
• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, and digital content
• Collaborate with web team to provide fresh content regularly, along with ideas based on web analytics to enhance our customer’s web experience
• Providing support for corporate events, including set up, tear down, registration, creating literature, event layouts, and more
• Assisting with company apparel and promotional/branding items
• Maintain the physical and digital filing systems / assets for marketing collateral

Qualifications:

• Must have web development / SEO experience
• Must have experience in MS Office suite. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience managing CRM systems – working knowledge of a database program such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
• Experience working independently, as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment
• Experience with social media management and email marketing is a plus
