About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team developing cutting-edge embedded software for the aerospace industry. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software applications used in Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) systems or other avionics applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test embedded software applications for CNI or avionics systems. (Experience with CNI data bus systems is a plus!)
• Analyze CNI data bus messages (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553) to extract and process relevant information.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful integration of software components.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system-level integration testing.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in embedded systems technologies and avionics standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience developing embedded software using C/C and Python.
• Experience with avionics embedded software development.
• Understanding of real-time systems concepts and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills (not required):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience using Python for scripting or software development.
• Familiarity with CNI data bus protocols (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553) is highly desirable.
