Our trucking and third party logistics company is in immediate need of a sales account executive for our customer sales department. The successful candidate will be responsible for offering services to prospective clients in need of transportation management, specifically with regards to maximizing customer satisfaction. Our company is looking for an individual who excels in CRM and can network with top industry representatives. We like to encourage repeat business among our customers, so we take customer service seriously. Everyone in the logistics department is responsible for responding immediately to customer questions. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position.

Essential Job Functions

• Acquire large and high priority customers from various industries
• Works in and out of the office cultivating business relationships to expand our customer base.
• Identifies and cultivates business opportunities from personal network
• Sells across entire portfolio of services and continually builds market share by establishing contact, developing relationships and recommending solutions for customers
• Works closely with Pricing, Market Management and Marketing to create and deliver growth proposals
• Leverages social media sales platforms and data tools, such as LinkedIn, Eloqua and Avention, to expand network
• Keeps abreast of industry events and initiatives and effectively communicates them to assigned customers and targets
• Communicates customer expectations via initial on-boarding process
• Utilizes sales tools and reporting processes to collect, analyze and summarize information in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains professional knowledge and develops network by attending key industry events as assigned

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree preferred. Major or significant coursework in logistics and supply chain management a plus
• Strong presentation skills to executive audience required
• Strong writing and verbal communication aptitude and proven ability to provide creative suggestions and vision relative
