Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to spearhead our engagement with State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts across California. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in nurturing client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering tailored staffing solutions to meet the unique needs of the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with SLED clients throughout California, understanding their staffing requirements and delivering customized solutions.
• Identify new opportunities within the SLED sector, leveraging market insights and personal networks to expand our client base.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation, ensuring timely closure and exceeding revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative strategies and optimize service delivery for SLED clients.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials tailored to the specific needs of the public sector.
• Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments affecting SLED organizations, providing valuable insights to inform business strategies.
Qualifications:
• A passion for sales, with a focus on the unique challenges and opportunities within the SLED sector in California.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport and effectively articulating value propositions.
• Proven experience in business development, with a track record of success in selling to government agencies or educational institutions.
• Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Strategic thinker with sound decision-making skills, able to anticipate client needs and offer innovative solutions.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
• Flexibility to collaborate across time zones and interact confidently with senior executives.
Experience:
• 3 years of experience in IT staffing, account management, or business development, with a focus on SLED accounts.
• Deep understanding of the public sector landscape in California, including familiarity with procurement processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Candidates with a background in sales, sourcing, or recruiting are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong sales mindset and understanding of the SLED market.
