Agri-Empresa Transportation LLC is Hiring a Transportation Logistics Analyst Near Midland, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Transportation Logistics Analyst will be a key component of our Transportation Department in the Permian Basin. This person will be reporting directly to the Transportation Manager. This position will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing company and third-party truck drivers, overseeing purchase orders and deliveries, and organizing key performance indicators for senior management. Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to: dispatch, payroll, billing, data entry, back-office clerical help, etc.

PAY:

  • Varies with experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help oversee and monitor drivers and deliveries of hazmat chemicals to customers throughout the Permian Basin and other operating areas
  • Promote and emphasize the Company’s strong safety practices and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide and review proper documentation according to local, state, and federal agencies
  • Coordinate and maximize most efficient and timely delivery routes
  • Analyze and improve logistical and operational activity
  • Help dispatch with third party transportation when necessary
  • Enter all data into Excel spreadsheets and maintain organization for company
  • Manage the payroll, billing and other documentation within the Transportation Department
  • Maintain internal documents tracking operational efficiency, driver rosters, key customers, etc.
  • Report key performance indicators to senior management on a weekly basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of five years of in transportation and logistics experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations (state and federal)
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry and/or oilfield chemical industry
  • Extremely strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Able to work well with others and be part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proactive in planning and reporting to senior management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in the U.S.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a normal office environment where the candidate can sit/stand for extended periods of time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

A candidate must be able to lift 10-15 lbs. and be able to sit/stand most of the time.

  • Transportation and Logistics: 5 years
  • Oilfield Services (preferred): 5 years
  • Oilfield Chemicals (preferred): 5 years

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's (preferred, but not necessary)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
